Job Purpose- Oversee a diverse client portfolio, acting as the go-to person for clients
- Lead audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance at every step
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations within audit engagements
- Act as the audit lead during fieldwork by supervising junior staff, reviewing work and monitoring team performance
- Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Deliver a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy
- Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
- Manage your own workload, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met

- Qualified by experience also considered
- Proven track record of leading audits from planning to completion within practice
- Excellent understanding of relevant audit software, including Microsoft Office, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team
