MERJE is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager - Training to join a leading UK long-term savings and retirement business. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's internal audit function, with a focus on data analytics skills and training. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing talent and capability frameworks within the organisation.

Location: Birmingham, Edinburgh, or London (Hybrid) - minimum 2 days per week in the office

The Role

As an Internal Audit Manager - Training, you will provide critical support to the effectiveness of the challenge brought to the risk, governance, and control environment. This role offers excellent opportunities for learning and growth within a respected and trusted audit team.

Key Responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager - Training:

  • Develop and implement data analytics skills and training programmes
  • Own and develop Talent and Capability and CPD frameworks
  • Support workforce plans, including recruitment and secondment initiatives
  • Manage the design and operation of the Relationship Management model
  • Provide training and development support to management and staff

Required knowledge and experience for the Internal Audit Manager - Training role:

  • Previous Internal Audit experience, ideally within a large Financial Services organisation
  • Proven experience in delivering effective Internal Audit training and development
  • Strong data analytics skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Good awareness of regulations and professional IA standards
