Role Highlights:As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor and financial consultant to the partnership, contributing to the firm's ongoing financial planning, business analysis, and operational performance enhancement. Your insights and recommendations will be integral to decision-making processes, and you will be instrumental in promoting financial awareness across practice groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive, value-adding financial advice to partners and leadership teams to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the firm's broader objectives and growth plans.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for different practice areas.
  • Partner closely with business unit leaders to support strategic initiatives, evaluate financial implications, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and revenue enhancement while upholding quality service delivery standards.
  • Oversee financial modeling and scenario planning to guide decision-making and assess risks.
  • Ensure alignment of financial practices with regulatory and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Legal Sector Experience: Demonstrable experience within a finance function in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills, including a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Commercial Acumen: A strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for business leaders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
