SF Executive have been retained by a family owned, marketing leading B2B product and services business in their search for a reliable and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer.
As CFO, you will report directly to the board and the audit committee and will have overall responsibility for the production of timely and accurate group management accounts, statutory financial reporting, tax, regulatory reporting and cash flow management.
The role requires a strong ability to work as part of a team and to be able to offer help and support to the business, as well a capable of communicating effectively from the boardroom to the shopfloor.
The role will involve excellent exposure to all subsidiary directors and finance teams, and with personal credibility will require wide-ranging relationship building with internal peers and external stakeholders (audit committee, auditors etc).
The successful CFO will have the following:
- A technically and commercially focussed finance leader
- Extensive group financial management experience
- Experience of working for a large scale, family or owner managed business
- Strong technical experience; understanding reporting for stock and service led revenue streams
- Treasury experience
- Knowledge of corporation tax i.e., cash flow forecasting and calculating quarterly on account tax instalments
- High level MS Excel skills - including pivots, chart production, index match and look up functions
This role will be mainly onsite so living within a commutable distance of the West Midlands is required.
