Claims Manager - Travel Claims

?? Location: Hybrid - Birmingham (Office days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)?? Salary: £31,500 - £47,500? Hours: 35 per week (flexibility required)

Are you a strong leader with a passion for performance and customer service? Our client is looking for a Claims Manager to drive excellence in their Travel Claims department. This is your chance to shape operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure top-tier service delivery.

As a Claims Manager, you will oversee and develop the Travel Claims department, ensuring performance targets and KPIs are consistently met while driving efficiency and service quality. Leading and motivating your team, you will foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture that delivers exceptional service at every touchpoint. With a strategic approach, you will enhance operational effectiveness, streamline processes, and promote collaboration to achieve business goals while maintaining excellence in claims management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Team Managers (4) and circa 50 Coordinators to hit key targets.
  • Oversee claims processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and top service.
  • Drive performance through monthly reviews, training, and strategic improvements.
  • Support on complex claims, ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners on escalated cases and reports.
  • Manage team budgets, including overtime planning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced claims environment.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to oversee large claims teams.
  • Confident communicator with clients, customers, and suppliers.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English & Maths.
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
