About you as Consumer Finance Manager/Head of Consumer Finance:
As Consumer Finance Manager/Head of Consumer Finance, you will be taking on a role, that you can make your own and will put you in an incredibly strong position, in terms of both your career and salary. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (Office presence required but will consider hybrid working)
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: between £60,000 and £80,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits
Duties of the Consumer Finance Manager/Head of Consumer Finance:
- Launch the consumer finance section of the business, setting the department up from scratch and being at the forefront of its success
- Oversee all operational aspects of the department and ensure that every aspect is running smoothly and efficiently
- Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies, that successfully expand the customer base and enhance brand awareness within the consumer finance space
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new processes and systems to enhance customer journey
- Collaborate with the software team to support the development of software for consumer use
- Grow a successful team, which involves recruiting a motivated and ambitious team; carrying out performance reviews; acting as a mentor for each team member; and proactively promoting high performance teams
- Report to the senior management team, sharing insights into consumer finance activity, preparing in-depth reports, and highlighting areas of concern
Skills and Experience of the Consumer Finance Manager/Head of Consumer Finance:
- Experience gained as a Sales Manager/Branch Manager/Head of consumer finance Sales within the finance sector
- Possesses a good understanding of regulations surrounding consumer finance
- Demonstrates strong managerial skills and has a proven track record of growing and managing a successful and motivated team
- Commercially astute, confident developing and implementing in-depth business plans
- Confident implementing strategies that enhance the consumer finance offering and determine the department's overall success
- Dynamic and business-savvy, keen to establish a flourishing, fast-paced department
