Origination Corporate FinanceFull timeBirmingham This company is an M&A specialist, committed to supporting entrepreneurs & private equity across the UK. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a proactive Origination/Business Developer to support the UK Partners and Directors, opening doors, and arranging and attending meetings. The Originator will play a key role in generating new client opportunities and guiding business owners through the sale process. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help strategies the company's continued growth in the UK.Responsibilities Included

  • Proactively engage with entrepreneurs via telephone, email, and face to face to discuss business growth and exit planning needs
  • Network with banks, accountancy firms, wealth managers and lawyers
  • Provide guidance to entrepreneurs on the M&A process
  • Continuously develop business opportunities and improve service delivery

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in M&A, financial services or professional services (desirable)
  • Experience working with entrepreneurs and a proven track record of new business development
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Passion for entrepreneurship and understanding of SME/Mid Market challenges
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
