Your new companyA growing professional services company based in Birmingham City centre is currently recruiting for an ambitious Credit Manager to manage their credit function. Reporting into the finance director, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 credit controllers and you will be responsible for overseeing the order-to-cash function and all aspects of credit control. Your new role
- Lead and manage the credit management team to meet objectives and set 1-2-1 meetings to set targets with the team on a monthly basis.
- Responsible and own the company's credit management and order-to-cash processes.
- Manage the reduction of unallocated cash and credits.
- Support the team and manage challenging accounts with a hands-on approach.
- Ensuring timely cash collections, reducing debtor days, and mitigating credit risk.
- Review and reporting on aged debtors
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional service
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience of managing a credit or AR team.
- Great people management skills and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Experience in managing complex billing processes.
- Strong Excell skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
