Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Model)

Salary: £200-£230 per day

Contract Duration: 6-9 months

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible timings with core hours from 10 am to 4 pm. 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. This role offers a hybrid working model, with 1-2 days in the Birmingham office and the remainder from home. This position is ideal for candidates who are at least part-qualified and have experience in finance, preferably within the public sector, although we are open to strong candidates from other sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various department heads to create financial reports and analysis that support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Work closely with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a finance role, public sector experience is advantageous but not essential.

Interview Process:

The interview will be informal, conducted online with 1-2 other team members. It will last approximately 30-40 minutes. We aim to conduct interviews early in the week commencing 18th November, with a start date as soon as possible.
