Description

  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing valuable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare management accounts and oversee month-end and year-end processes.
  • Act as a strategic business partner, helping leadership teams make informed financial decisions.
  • Oversee Value for Money (VFM) initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Ensure strong financial controls, reconciliations, and compliance with policies.
  • Support process improvements and implement system enhancements.
  • Be the first point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.

Profile

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified accountant (or finalist) with experience in management accounting and finance business partnering.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial control expertise, including trial balance preparation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft finance systems and strong Excel skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a track record of driving efficiencies and process improvements.
