- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Lead the finance team and provide mentorship and development to ensure high performance.
- Partner with the MD and senior leadership team to contribute to key business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement robust financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and support scaling.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the business maintains a strong financial position.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings and recommendations to the board.
- Manage external relationships, including auditors, banks, and investors.
- Lead on financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and other growth opportunities.
- Significant post-qualification experience, ideally within a business of similar scale (£50m+ revenue).
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence strategic decisions at the board level.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience developing high-performing finance teams.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A track record of implementing financial controls and improving processes.
