This role is for a part-qualified Finance Manager who will significantly contribute to the not for profit industry through expert financial management and strategic oversight. The position is based Birmingham and requires an individual with a strong background in Accounting & Finance.

Description

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Lead and manage the finance team to achieve organisational objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Deliver crucial information, analysis and insights on how new charges impact both customers and the business
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organisation
  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the finance department
  • Contribute to the development of the company's strategic goals

Profile

You will need:

  • 2 years experience in accounting within a large organisation
  • Service charge experience within housing
  • Background working in a business partnering role
  • Develop and deliver an excellent customer driven service to stakeholders
  • Analysing complete data and manage risk
  • Experience managing a team
