Overview

Mitchell Adam are excited to announce their recent collaboration with an established organisation in the property sector in Birmingham City Centre. This organisation has recently started their search for an experienced Finance Manager and are looking for someone who is confident producing monthly management account packs and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The organisation is well established within the West Midlands and are hoping to continue their expansion and increase the size of their finance function. The organisation provides a strong study support package and the option to work in a hybrid working style.

This organisation has expanded throughout the West Midlands, and their newly renovated branch in Birmingham is just one of many in the region. This organisation is eager to provide you with the facilities to be able to complete your role as effectively as possible. In this role you will be covering management accountant responsibilities such as preparing monthly management account packs and providing financial advice and reports to senior management, whilst also liaising with a variety of internal stakeholders and being involved in senior financial meetings and discussions. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a small team of experienced accounting professionals, who will be on hand to help with your duties whenever necessary.

Skills Required
  • To be actively studying for your ACCA or CIMA Qualification, or to have a strong desire to begin your studies in this role.
  • To be patient and resilient, in this role at times you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • To be charismatic, as you will be communicating with senior management, non-finance stakeholders and fellow accounting professionals in this role.
  • To be confident and detail oriented, as you will be presenting data and analysing variance in datasets in this role.
