They have a passionate commitment to innovation, investment in new products, technology and skills, which together with their flexibility to respond rapidly to changing customer needs has made them a UK market leader.The RoleThe business is going through tremendous change and growth and is seeking to appoint a hands on, finance lead with a strong manufacturing background, to get "under the skin" of the business, improve systems, processes, costings, operational efficiencies and drive financial performance.Duties will include:

  • Management of month-end process including the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  • Overseeing cash flow preparation and managing cash balances
  • Project costing to ensure key projects are on budget
  • Standard costing - track changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services to determine effects on cost
  • Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
  • Assisting with the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting process
  • Supporting the senior management team with ad-hoc project work: supporting commercial projects related to the continuing growth and development of the business
  • Ensure that all financial controls are in place across the company to eliminate financial risk and loss
