ARE YOU CURRENTLY A FINANCE MANAGER OR FINANCE PROFESSIONAL LOOKING FOR A STEP UP? HAVE YOU GOT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY?

Finance Manager required for a global manufacturer who are specialist within their industry. They offer a varied role with a high level of responsibility.

The role would suit finance managers or finance professionals with a recognised accounting qualification or equivalent. Applicants will ideally have previous experience within a manufacturing environment. SAP experience is desirable. Candidates with experience of UK GAAP or IRFS will have a considerable advantage.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work cohesively to deliver a robust finance system for a large manufacturing site. You will be responsible for ensuring internal finance controls and financial compliance in line with companies/group policies. As part of your role, you will provide business performance reports, take ownership of creating detailed budgets and analyse spend/budget variances to indicate major variances/drive actions to eliminate waste. You will provide weekly reports on stock and stock movements and ensure CAPEX is properly justified and meets Group Investment criteria. Communication is key within this role, you will liaise with stakeholders, internal senior management and external auditors on production of statutory accounts.
