RM Recruit are working in partnership with our Midlands based Housing Association client to recruit a Finance Business Partner for circa 3-6 months.

This role is pivotal in working alongside Directors, non finance personnel and budget holders to provide information, analysis and insight to achieve their strategic and business objectives. The Finance Business Partner will challenge business thinking, and help drive business strategy. They will support corporate objectives and embed values and assist budget holders in achieving value for money.

The remit of the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Production of Management Accounts with commentary
  • Business Partner with internal stakeholders
  • Regular Liaison with budget holders
  • Assistance in developing and maintaining the delivery of business objectives and ensuring that the organisation's customers are at the centre of all business decisions
  • Support in delivering the agreed financial performance and KPIs for operational activities and financial plans
  • Business Partnering with other Teams to deliver effective growth and continuing success of the organisation
  • Support and assist in driving forward continuous business improvement and change initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Supporting budget holders and other stakeholders to ensure that accurate data and information is shared along with correct forecasting
  • Drive improvement, processes and delivery of service
  • Monthly forecasting together with commentary regarding variances
  • Devise appropriate support with budget holders and advise on support for them to reach their KPI's
  • Challenge processes to achieve new and better ways of working in line with corporate objectives

This role is mostly working from home with office presence required twice per week. Ideally, you will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) however, candidates who are Part Qualified/ Qualified by experience will be considered.
