Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Personal Tax Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with the Tax Partner to provide strategic tax advisory services to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring accurate compliance and delivering tailored tax advice
  • Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of complex personal tax returns
  • Advising clients on tax planning strategies, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax mitigation
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals to ensure high performance and career development
  • Staying up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring the team and clients are informed
  • Assisting clients with complex tax matters, including HMRC enquiries and disclosures
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities to deliver added value and additional services to clients
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client service
  • Driving business development initiatives, including networking and building relationships with potential clients
  • Reviewing internal processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience
  • Representing the firm externally and contributing to its reputation as a leader in tax advisory
