We are focused on transaction, restructuring and advisory work and are a leading provider of tax advice to the mid-market transactions sector. As part of our mission to grow our team of skilled tax advisers we are looking to welcome aTransaction Tax Manager to our business.

The K3 Capital Group, part of the Sun Capital Group of Companies, works alongside M&A, corporate recovery, tax investigation, forensic accounting, transaction services, data and R&D teams. The K3 Capital operates across 23 UK offices and several overseas locations, and continues to grow through acquisition of complementary businesses.  K3TA is looking for an enthusiastic tax professional skilled in transaction tax, who is keen to move their career forward. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about taking responsibility for their workload and career direction, who are resourceful and reliable, and who want to enjoy being part of a team with an open and supportive culture.

Core responsibilities;

  • Providing advice and support on a wide range of M&A and restructuring transactions
  • Working alongside Directors or Managing Directors, seeing projects through from initial advice to execution
  • Working on a number of projects, undertaking tasks such as  researching tax issues, drafting tax reports and transaction step plans, preparing clearance applications and financial models

At K3TA we focus on specialist knowledge, however we are looking to support the right candidate, building on their experience. Our ambition is to invest in the best people to build a market-leading team, so extensive experience in all of the areas is not critical.

  • Mainstream corporation tax advice
  • Corporate restructuring
  • Tax support to lead advisory and transaction due diligence
  • Shareholder value extraction and succession
  • Private equity investor and investment vehicle advice
  • Partnership tax
  • Cross-border financing and withholding tax planning
  • International, permanent establishment and transfer pricing issues
  • Employee reward and share schemes

You’ll be;

  • Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or ACA/ ACCA qualified, with at least 2 years PQE
  • Experienced working within a tax advisory context
  • Either an existing Manageror looking to take the step up to Manager level

We have a remote-first culture and our team are located across the UK, working mostly from home with occasional travel when required to meet client needs. We meet several times a year at whole-team offsite events to keep in touch with one another and develop strategy together.
