This is a really exciting opportunity to be part of driving the success of an important Birmingham-based organisation and charity that makes a huge difference to the region's visually impaired and disabled community. The successful individual will: - Be a Qualified Accountant that can play a key role in strategic planning, governance, fundraising strategy, and compliance. - Monitor the financial health of the charity and ensure it operates within its means. - Oversee the preparation and presentation of regular financial reports to the Board. - Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements. - Provide an independent and objective perspective to the Board and make a positive contribution to success and growth - Be a strong communicator, able to work consultatively with the Board and the Executive team.
