We have an exciting opportunity for ecologists to work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team on a wide range of UK projects that include strategic residential and mixed-use development sites and infrastructure projects within their Birmingham office, where you will be given the opportunity to take the next step in your career.

Their work involves early engagement at the due diligence or feasibility stage, with a focus on pre-planning protected species surveys, assessments and mitigation design through to post planning works.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including habitat restoration, biodiversity conservation, and environmental impact assessments.

Our client offers the experience of working on high profile, large infrastructure projects comparable to the much larger organisations, coupled with a variety of medium sized projects including residential, urban regeneration, mixed-use, schools and strategic land and finally, smaller stand-alone ecology survey projects.

You will also be involved with, and become an expert in, BNG (Biodiversity Net Gain), ensuring that the legal requirement of each project is met in respect of the natural environment being left in a measurably better state that it was before the project began.

With a requirement to meet the needs of their local clients and to support colleagues in other disciplines, a key aspect to the role will include regular co-operation and inter-office working.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
