Ocean Export Operator

Right Now Group are working with an International Freight Forwarder based at BHX, who are looking to expand their Ocean division by bringing aboard a new Ocean Export Operator. The ideal candidate will have had experience working within a busy Ocean Department for a Freight Forwarder. Experience within Exports is essential. Responsibilities of an Ocean Export Operator:

• Build and Develop relationships to ensure a high level of customer service
• Ensure all Freight is moved and delivered on time with necessary documentation completed
• Arrange Haulage with shipping lines and hauliers
• Ensure queries and requests are resolved and actioned efficiently and quickly
• Communication with Overseas agents, customers and suppliers in a clear precise manner

Requirements/Skills of an Ocean Export Operator

• Operation and Industry knowledge of Ocean Freight
• An understanding of Export processes
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment

Location: Birmingham Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 Shift: Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm All Relevant Candidates Will be Contacted within 48Hours!
