Job Role:

Full class responsibilities for a Year 6 class, including planning and marking
Delivering lessons that follow the National Curriculum and cater to the needs of all students in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Managing the classroom environment and promoting excellent behaviour management
Preparation and support for SATs assessments, ensuring students are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school
Collaboration with fellow Primary Teachers and staff in a 2-form entry school

Required Skills and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching in Primary Schools, particularly in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and preparation for SATs
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, with a focus on student achievement and well-being
