Zest Education are looking for a dedicated primary school teacher to join a school based in Harborne. You will be required to teach in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a full-time basis, Monday through to Friday. This role is due to start in April 2025 and is ongoing, giving you the opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship with a fantastic school!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and present high quality and appropriate lessons that meet the national curriculum guidelines.
  • Carry out assessments, assign homework, report and mark papers.
  • Establish standards for behaviour and discipline in line with school policy.
  • Create engaging lessons and motivate the students to collaborate together.
  • Liaise with parents, senior leaders, and external bodies about student progress.
  • Offer individualised support to students of all abilities as needed.

You must have:

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • In-school teaching experience.
  • Extensive familiarity with the national curriculum and EYFS provision.
  • An enhanced DBS or the willingness to obtain one.
  • The capacity for both independent working and productive teamwork.
  • A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
