Our South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic year 3 Teacher to join their successful team immediately. This "good" Primary school boasts a well established team who have excellent relationships with pupils and are ambitious that pupils achieve well. Behaviour is good and pupils enjoy coming to school

You will have prior key stage 2 specifically year 3 teaching experience and be able to commit to a full time role from Feb to July 2025. Taking full responsibility for teaching the year 3 class.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 3 pupils
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
  • Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably within key stage 2
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
