PPA Teacher

Flourish Education are currently seeking a Primary Teacher to join a small Primary School in Kings Norton. This school is a 1-form entry primary school who believe in tailoring learning around the needs of the children within the class and values community, including the family and staff.

Our client is seeking a Primary Teacher to support on a full-time, long-term basis, starting in January. The ideal candidate would be flexible across all year groups and would be supporting by delivering PPA cover lessons, supporting children with challenging behaviour, and dealing with the behaviour in a positive way and providing small group and 1-1 interventions.

This role is for a more experienced teacher and is not suitable for ECTs.

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across the National Curriculum, including Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Acting as a Cover Teacher, stepping in to maintain consistency learning during staff absences.
• Leading targeted interventions to support children's academic progress.
• Managing challenging behaviour with confidence and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Supporting the Primary School's ethos and commitment to pupil development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience with Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Proven ability to manage and support children with challenging behaviour.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Flexibility to work as a Cover Teacher and deliver interventions.
• A minimum of 2 excellent references from your most recent employers.

Working as a Primary Teacher for Flourish Education Offers You:

• £140 to £175 per day, equating to £27,300 to £34,125 per annum for full-time work.
