About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Primary School Teacher on behalf of our client, a well-regarded primary school located in [Location]. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive school environment, where you will be expected to deliver high-quality teaching across the primary age groups. The position is set to commence in January 2025, with the teacher expected to work 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all children can thrive.
  • Plan and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Work closely with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives and foster a team-oriented approach to teaching.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to ensure student progress is tracked and shared effectively.
  • Provide support for students with additional learning needs where necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, BA in Education, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a primary school teacher, ideally within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and current educational best practices.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, assess, and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching.
  • An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable:

  • Specialism in a particular subject area (e.g., literacy, mathematics, science).
  • Experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
  • Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a primary school setting.
