Sales Representative - Midlands Region
Location: Midlands (Field-based)
Salary: 27,000 - 31,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Commission

About the Role
Our client, a trusted British brand renowned for its exceptional customer service and 7-year warranty on its range of branded TVs, is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their growing team. This role will focus on developing and managing relationships with independent retailers across the Midlands. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, maintaining key accounts, and expanding our client's presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Growth: Proactively identify and engage new independent retailers to stock our client's TVs and related products. You'll ensure sales targets are met or exceeded by developing new business opportunities and expanding the retail network.
- Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing retail partners, providing them with support, product training, and guidance to maximise sales. This will involve a combination of in-person visits and telephone communications.
- Territory Development: Identify and approach potential new business opportunities, including high street shops and other relevant outlets in the Midlands region.
- Product Presentation: Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrating the benefits of our client's TVs and highlighting key features such as the industry-leading 7-year warranty and UK-based customer service.
- Market Insights: Monitor the competitive landscape, providing feedback and insights to inform our client's product and sales strategies.
- Travel: Regular travel across the Midlands is required, including site visits to retailer locations, as well as attendance at trade shows and industry events. There will also be office-based time for admin, calls, and collaboration with the wider team.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the consumer electronics, home appliances, or TV sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively across a large geographical area.
- Experience in account management, including setting and achieving KPIs.
- A full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
- A solid understanding of retail environments and how to influence point-of-sale success.
