Are you confident, patient and passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We're looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Harborne, supporting KS2 pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs - including ADHD and ASD.

You'll play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, regulate their emotions and develop positive behaviour strategies, all within a nurturing classroom environment.

Your Role:

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with KS2 pupils with behavioural and SEN needs
  • Implement individual behaviour plans and promote emotional regulation techniques
  • Use a consistent and calm approach to de-escalate challenging situations
  • Support teaching staff to create an inclusive and structured learning environment
  • Liaise with SENCOs, parents and external agencies where appropriate

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD and ASD
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive way
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Resilient, calm and committed to helping every child succeed
  • School-based or youth support experience is highly desirable
