Are you a Contentious Probate solicitor looking for the next stage in your career at a Legal 500 firm known for its excellent standard of work and supportive culture? My client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to join its friendly and supportive team, based in either its Birmingham City Office or Shirley Office.

What my client is looking for:

This firm is ideally seeking a solicitor with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in contentious probate matters. You will have strong client care skills and the ability to build lasting relationships. If you have connections in the local market and a bit of a following, even better!

You will be confident in managing a varied caseload, including disputes between beneficiaries, executors, and trustees, and working on high-quality matters related to estates and trusts. Ideally, you will also be comfortable with business development and networking to help grow our team. If you happen to be ACTAPS qualified, that would be advantageous but not essential.

The Role

  • Managing your own diverse caseload of contentious probate matters
  • Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
  • Handling disputes involving the administration of estates and performance of trustees or executors
  • Engaging in business development and networking to help expand our client base and grow the team
