Locum Outpatient Pharmacist - Birmingham - 6 week role

• Job Title: Locum Pharmacist - Band 6• Location: Birmingham - NHS Hospital - Outpatients role • Duration: 4 weeks initially (to cover annual leave)• Schedule: 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, or 11am-7pm (30 min lunch)• Start Date: ASAP• End Date: 4 weeks from start• Rate of Pay: £23-£25 per hour (via Umbrella)• Contact: Alex Roberts - -

Join our team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients through efficient outpatient services. In this role, you will:

• Screen and clinically check outpatient prescriptions

• Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care within an NHS hospital setting

• Collaborate with the outpatient pharmacy team to ensure safe and timely patient service

• Use EPIC systems (preferred but not essential)

• Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current and valid GPhC registration

• Ideally, experience with EPIC and NHS outpatients (community pharmacists also considered)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

This role offers flexible full-time hours across the working week with shifts between 9am and 7pm.The contract runs for 4 weeks initially, with potential for extension based on service needs.
