An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mathematical Modeller to join a well-established organisation’s central Analytics & Modelling Hub in Birmingham. This pivotal role involves collaborating with various business units, leveraging advanced modelling techniques to influence key decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development: Build, enhance, and critique a range of models—operational, behavioural, and commercial.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and challenging outputs to ensure robust, high-quality analysis.
  • Problem Solving: Apply mathematical and statistical methods to solve complex business challenges and improve decision-making.
Key Requirements:
  • Exceptional Academic Background: A degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a complex modelling role, with demonstrated success across various industry sectors.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to gather requirements, critique, and challenge modelling outputs.
  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of model-building methodologies and approaches.
  • Hybrid Working: Based in Birmingham, with 1-2 days in the office per week.
  • Right to Work: Applicants must have full right to work in the UK, as the client is unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
Salary:

£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
