About the Company:

We are a private self-referral mental health clinic providing therapeutic care for individuals in Birmingham. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for those seeking help with their mental health. We are currently looking for a Night Wake Support Worker to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of clients during the night shift
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that may arise
  • Administer medication to clients according to their prescribed schedules
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client activities and any incidents that occur during the night
  • Assist with any necessary tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure continuity of care for clients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients during the night
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
  • Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a mental health setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards those struggling with mental health
  • Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration and record-keeping
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one
