COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Our client is an industry leader in solving the world's most pressing water reuse, industrial, irrigation, municipal, and drinking water needs. What does the role look like?

This is a collaborative role where you will be supporting the Operations Leader, the Account Managers and other Technologists.
The role is to service, recommend changes, report and communicate water treatment performance, whilst ensure our equipment is working well, and recording and measure regular readings.

What are the day-to-day duties?

  • Complete Legionella sampling - document & monitor Legionella related works
  • Competently carry out LCA audit checklist on Environmental Services suppliers
  • Engagement with the Gensuite system and associated tools to manage documentation
  • Plan your own diary to ensure compliance tasks and inspections take place on time
  • Work with the Account Managers to ensure that plans are met.
  • Identify opportunities for upgrades - i.e. chemical dosing equipment (Chemfeed), training, analytical services or increased scope of supply.
  • Communicate basic technical concepts to the customers
  • Assisting with project execution, from surveying to completion.
  • Participate in review meetings with customers
  • Awareness & engagement with safe chemical delivery & storage procedures
  • Calibration of equipment and generation of calibration certificates
  • Maintain site equipment
  • Operation of dosing pumps - changing dosing rates as required based on test results
  • Independently diagnose issues - escalate or rectify
  • Diagnose warning/error messages on control equipment and rectify
  • Install and set up tank level sensors and link to remote tank monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify connection issues with WTS monitoring equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

What skills and background would suit this role?

  • Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • Happy to travel within assigned area (Midlands) - this may occasionally include overnight stays
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Good organisation, communication & interpersonal skills
