Your new companyOur high-profile client, operating in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team. They have a strong pipeline of work with a major water provider in the Midlands and offer excellent opportunities for career progression. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.

Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be based out of their Birmingham office and be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of civil works on high-profile water projects as well as:

  • Creating and maintaining programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Approving subcontractor invoices and ensuring payments are made within timescales
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with the client and subcontractors regarding H&S audits/inspections
  • Liaising with the delivery team to ensure successful project delivery.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

  • Experience of delivering civil works from inception through to completion in the water (clean water or wastewater) industry, preferably deep drainage works
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Experience in procurement and post-contract management
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
