We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to join a leading F&B provider and help shape the future of their digital solutions.
The business has a focus on developing user-centric digital innovations, including award-winning Omni Channel Digital Solutions for food and drink ordering, kiosks, and kitchen management systems.
Position Overview:
Based in the Birmingham office, the QA Lead will be a vital member of the Digital team, working closely with the Product Manager, UX Lead, Business Analysts, and the offshore Dev Team, ensuring that new product features meet the highest quality standards before going live.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse technical documentation and ensure quality requirements are met

Translate functional specifications into detailed test cases

Write Test Plans and Status Reports and run daily triages during testing

Perform manual testing across software and hardware products
-
Document test strategies and execute test cases, analyzing results
-
Manage defects in Azure DevOps and collaborate across teams to ensure quality
-
Identify risks and improve testing processes for enhanced efficiency
-
Support test automation framework development and maintain test environments
-
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs

Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing testing updates and feedback
Person Profile:
-
Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role, focusing on end-to-end testing and UAT

Experience testing websites, mobile apps, and integrated systems

Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and cases
-
Strong analytical skills to assess risks and influence decision-making

Technically minded with creative problem-solving abilities for complex scenarios

Excellent communication skills to articulate risks and explain complex issues
-
Detail-oriented with a commitment to following test plans meticulously

Familiar with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall software development lifecycles

Experience with Azure Active Directory, Salesforce, and WebSphere
-
Knowledge of API testing and experience with JSON and XML
-
Exposure to test automation tools and CI/CD environments, particularly Azure DevOps pipelines
