Merco Medical Staffing is looking for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care (ICU) to join our client NHS Trusts in the Midlands. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and committed medical professional to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver anaesthetic and intensive care services according to departmental needs
  • Participate in the first on-call rota during the early part of the placement
  • Provide coverage in elective operating theatres, ICU, and emergency theatres
  • Undertake second on-call duties for ITU and maternity services
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Essential:
    • Medical degree from a recognised institution
    • Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent part-time experience)
    • At least 6 months of ICU experience
    • ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification prior to commencement
    • Full GMC registration or eligibility to secure it
    • Current or recent NHS experience within the last 5 years
    • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Desirable:
    • Anaesthetic Initial Assessment of Competency (IAC) completed
    • Primary FRCA or MRCP qualification
    • Part or full EDIAC or EDIC certification
    • Additional relevant educational qualifications
