Senior Estimator

About the Senior Estimator role
My client works across a diverse project portfolio, including, commercial, offices, high rise residential, hotels and large mixed-use developments, with projects ranging from 20m - 150m. As a Senior Estimator you will play an integral role in tendering work in the Midlands region and experience within the high-rise residential, sector would be advantageous for this role.
Responsibilities for Senior Estimator role
- Collecting quotes from materials suppliers and sub-contractors
- Assessing the levels of commercial risk on a project
- Analysing company data, exchange rates and prices
- Experience using estimating software packages
- Preparing and submitting quotations for work
- Helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities
Requirements for Senior Estimator role
- Previous experience working on projects within the High-Rise Residential sector would be preferred
- Minimum of 5 years main contractor experience
- Experience managing Computerised estimating packages
- Confident in analysing drawings
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What we offer for the Senior Estimator role
Salary: 85,000 - 100,000 DOE (may pay more for exceptional candidates)
