About the Role:
We are currently partnering with a privately owned civil engineering contractor that works with both public and private sector clients, carrying out highways, 278s, and public realm works. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator with a proven track record in the civil engineering sector.
Senior Estimator Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for civil engineering projects
-Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements
-Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information
-Review and assess cost estimates for accuracy and completeness
-Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary
Required Qualifications and Skills:
-Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering sector
-Strong analytical and numerical skills
-Proficient in using estimation software and tools
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
