Role Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Tenancy Sustainment Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to the Tenancy Sustainment Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, assessing applicants' housing and support needs, and ensuring void properties are advertised and let efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise a caseload, ensuring effective case handling.
- Process housing register applications and changes of circumstances.
- Maintain accurate records on manual and computerised systems.
- Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Liaise with Registered Social Providers regarding property advertisements.
- Undertake administrative duties related to ending tenancies.
- Provide support to Tenancy Sustainment Advisors and Officers as required.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a busy office environment and handling customer interactions.
- Understanding of social housing, local government, or public services is desirable.
