Circa £40k - Birmingham Hybrid Role

We’re working with a growing firm in Birmingham offering excellent motorway links, to recruit a T&C Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the firm’s T&C function. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the T&C Manager will ensure the business remains compliant while supporting team development and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the T&C function for the business.
  • Develop and improve the T&C scheme to meet business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all employees (advisory and non-advisory) have the skills and expertise to fulfil their roles.
  • Define competency criteria and procedures for assessments.
  • Adapt the T&C scheme to regulatory changes and business model updates.
  • Create KPIs to measure business needs and potential risks.
  • Maintain records to demonstrate FCA compliance, from recruitment to ongoing training.
  • Conduct weekly file checks, maintain grading systems, and identify training needs.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory matters and support the Head of Compliance.
  • Oversee the delivery of regulatory training (e.g., AML, GDPR) and monitor client file reviews.
  • Manage the recruitment and implementation of T&C schemes and policies.
  • Line manage the Technical Team Leader and oversee outsourced work performance.
