The Role: Wave Solder Technician

As a Wave Solder Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production process. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Operating automated Wave Solder and inspection machines (SUN EAST and EPM experience preferred).
  • Following PCB board layouts, BOM part lists, and instructions to assemble, rework, and reassemble units and sub-assemblies.
  • Performing hand soldering post-wave on PCBs when necessary.
  • Optimising wave solder throughput to meet production goals.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting wave solder equipment, including setup, line maintenance, and de-drossing the solder bath.
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth workflows and timely order completion.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience as a Wave Solder Technician, with a solid understanding of IPC610 standards.
  • Hands-on experience with wave solder equipment and processes.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
