About Our Client:
Our client, a leading provider of care services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the establishment and management of a new step down service for young people aged 16-24. This CQC regulated service aims to provide seamless support for individuals transitioning from more intensive care settings, complementing other arms of the business.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing this new service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setup and daily operations of the step down service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each individual, ensuring a smooth transition from more intensive care settings.
- Provide leadership and management to a team of care staff, fostering a supportive and positive working environment.
- Work closely with other arms of the business to ensure the service complements and enhances existing services.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to ensure the service operates efficiently and sustainably.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements where necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a CQC regulated setting, ideally with experience in services for young people.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks, including CQC standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young people.
