About the Role:
- Aspire People are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in B12, Birmingham. This is a long-term position starting in April 2025, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEND in both individual and group settings.
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning plans.
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment for students.
- Help with classroom management and student engagement.
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback where necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- SEND Experience is essential (at least 1 year of experience working with children with SEND).
- Must be able to obtain at least 2 professional references from the past 2 years of employment.
- DBS on the Update Service is required.
- Passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to providing the best educational experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
