Teaching Assistants (Full-time & Part-time Roles)Location: Stourbridge Salary: Competitive, based on experience Contract: Full-time & Part-time opportunities availableWe are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team at a thriving special needs school in Stourbridge. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.What You'll Do:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities for students with special educational needs.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Work with small groups or individual students, offering tailored support.
- Support children with personal care needs when necessary.
- Assist students with their social and emotional development.
- Contribute to creating and implementing personalised learning plans.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in training to further develop your skills.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is preferred.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, flexible, and calm approach when supporting students.
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are a bonus, but not essential.
