The Role:

  • Supporting students withsignificant SEMH needs(Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) due totrauma and attachment issues.

  • Providing tailored support for children withADHD, ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), and Dyslexia.

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff todeliver individualised interventions.

  • Implementingbehaviour management strategiesand fostering a positive, nurturing environment.

  • Promotingemotional regulationand academic engagement.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a resource base or special school setting.

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and attachment-based support.

  • Experience working with students with complex SEMH needs, ADHD, ASC, and Dyslexia.

  • Ability to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.

  • Skilled in de-escalation techniques and managing challenging behaviours effectively.
