The Role:
Supporting students withsignificant SEMH needs(Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) due totrauma and attachment issues.
Providing tailored support for children withADHD, ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), and Dyslexia.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff todeliver individualised interventions.
Implementingbehaviour management strategiesand fostering a positive, nurturing environment.
Promotingemotional regulationand academic engagement.
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in a resource base or special school setting.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and attachment-based support.
Experience working with students with complex SEMH needs, ADHD, ASC, and Dyslexia.
Ability to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies.
Skilled in de-escalation techniques and managing challenging behaviours effectively.
