Housing Administrator (Right to Buy/Acquire)Location: Birmingham Working Pattern: Office-based (4-5 days per week, with potential for some home working)Contract: Until April 11th, with potential for extensionHours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm)We are seeking a Housing Administrator with experience in Right to Buy/Acquire processes to support our team in managing an influx of applications following recent policy changes.This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in housing administration, particularly in leaseholder management, and a proactive approach to clearing backlogs efficiently.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Right to Buy sales and acquisitions
  • Handling leaseholder management enquiries confidently and competently
  • Answering incoming queries and triaging calls effectively
  • Completing Fa1 forms accurately and efficiently
  • Using Orchard MRI housing management systems (training available)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in housing administration, with knowledge of Right to Buy/Acquire
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work with housing management systems (Orchard MRI experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work agilely, primarily in the office (4-5 days per week, with potential for remote work in the afternoons or one day per week)
