Job Title: HR ManagerSalary: Circa £45KContract: 6 Months – Possible ExtensionLocation: BirminghamHybrid: Yes  JGA are partnered with a exciting business based in the heart of Birmingham who are seeking a HR Manager on a interim basis!  Responsibilities:

  • Apply HR best practices to support the business and find effective people solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Empower and guide managers in handling employee issues, advising on employment terms, and offering best practice solutions.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal and development process, ensuring alignment with business goals, high performance, and succession planning.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues such as performance, discipline, grievances, absence, and redundancy.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date advice on employment law, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and HR practices.
  • Support the recruitment process, employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance reviews, exits), and all leave-related matters, while ensuring data privacy and compliance with policies.
Experience:
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and staff across all levels in diverse settings.
  • Familiar with environments with varied contracts, working patterns, and employment terms.
  • Background in customer-facing sectors such as arts, hospitality, or events.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating high resilience and self-confidence.
  • Strong understanding of inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility with a commitment to supporting others.
  • Skilled in managing time effectively, working with sensitivity and confidentiality, and fostering engagement with others.
