We are looking to recruit a new Recruitment Manager based in Birmingham, to oversee recruitment operations across multiple sites, manage a team of recruiters and ensure the successful delivery of permanent and contract recruitment solutions.

The responsibilities of the Recruitment Manager will involve:
- Recruitment Strategy & Delivery:
- Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection for permanent and contract roles across multiple sites.
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent as well as working closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership as well as providing regular updates on the recruitment progress, providing insights and recommendations for improving recruitment effectiveness.
- Sourcing & Talent Pipeline:
- Proactively source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks, and referrals as well as ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Maintaining and developing a pool of potential candidates for hard-to-fill or high-demand roles.
-Candidate Engagement & Experience:
- Ensuring a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process. Providing timely feedback and maintaining transparent communication with candidates from initial application to final offer.
- Recruitment Analytics & Reporting:
- Tracking and reporting on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Presenting regular updates to senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance to support professional development and ensure team success in meeting recruitment targets.
- Onboarding Coordination:
- Overseeing the smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation, background checks, and inductions are completed in a timely manner.
- Recruitment Compliance:
- Ensuring that all recruitment activities comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and best practices as well as maintaining compliance with both JMC policies and client-specific recruitment processes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the recruitment function as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovative recruitment methods.
- Team Collaboration:
- Working closely with the other recruitment teams, HR, and operational managers to share best practices, address challenges and ensure alignment across all recruitment activities.
In order to be successful in this role, the Recruitment Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience as a recruitment manager or senior recruiter, with a track record of managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, tools, and best practices, including candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including hiring managers, senior leadership, and candidates.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills, and handling multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage expectations and provide a high-quality recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.
- Highly detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and ensuring all recruitment activities are compliant with company and industry standards.
- Excellent administrative skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands, working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with team members to achieve recruitment goals.
- Previous experience in aviation, engineering, or technical recruitment (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience in on-site recruitment management, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Knowledge of recruitment-specific software and systems, including ATS and other recruitment tools.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment, particularly with permanent recruitment.
