Senior HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner / HR Consultant

Are you a proactive and hands-on HR professional looking for the next step in your career? We're hiring an experienced HR generalist to support the Senior HR Business Partner's in delivering effective HR solutions across the business.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, engineering, transport, or logistics within a unionised environment, who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys partnering with stakeholders to drive HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

? Acting as the HRBP's right hand, providing day-to-day generalist HR support

? Managing absence cases and driving initiatives to improve attendance

? Supporting employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management

? Partnering with managers to provide expert HR advice and guidance

? Assisting with HR projects and strategic initiatives

? Working closely with union representatives to maintain positive working relationships

? Supporting talent management, including succession planning and development programmes

? Analysing HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement

? Driving employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture

? Supporting organisational change, including restructures and TUPE processes

? Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, with exposure to business partnering
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, transport, or logistics within a unionised environment
  • Confident handling employee relations and advising senior stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
