We are currently working in partnership with a global leader in the manufacturing industry, who are looking to appoint a Standalone HR Advisor on a full time basis.

This will be a full-time position based in the West Midlands, with a salary of £32,000 to £38,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment law and employee relations procedures. The candidate must also hold a current driving licence as they will be required to travel for this role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Being involved in the recruitment process by posting job ads, supporting the hiring process and preparing job descriptions
  • Training and managing the onboarding of new employees as well as training current employees on new procedures
  • Reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance whilst maintaining records
  • Supporting the management with disciplinaries & grievances whilst providing assistance on policies and procedures
  • Identifying training needs and initiatives and coordinating locations and times for the training sessions

Experience required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law and employee relations procedures
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong teamwork abilities
